To coincide with World Environment Day and the beat #BeatPlasticPollution campaign, Nat Geo Magazine has published some striking images of how plastic effects wildlife around the world.

‘For Animals, Plastic Is Turning the Ocean Into a Minefield’ includes shots of a turtle stuck a six-pack ring plastic and a seak caught in plastic netting. The images are tragic but eyeopening and will be printed in the June issue of Nat Geo. You can see more photos and read the full details here.
